Treasurer

Andrea Hogan Lewis serves as an esteemed Assistant Vice President and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer at First Security Bank. In this role, she plays a pivotal part in addressing the financial needs and services of the community, with a particular focus on unbanked and underbanked populations. Andrea is deeply committed to financial education, especially among youth, tirelessly working to enhance financial literacy in local school districts and through nonprofit organizations.

In 2017, Andrea led a groundbreaking initiative by launching First Security Bank’s inaugural in-school mock bank at Stephens Elementary. This innovative program has since expanded, establishing additional in-school banks at JA Fair K8 Prep School, Booker T. Washington Elementary, and Gibbs Magnet Elementary within the Little Rock School District. Collectively, these programs have amassed over $90,000 in deposits, significantly impacting students' financial awareness and savings habits. Andrea’s dedication also extends to offering practical, hands-on banking experience to students, training them as tellers and instilling in them the value of financial responsibility from a young age.

Beyond her professional achievements, Andrea is a fervent community advocate and volunteer. She serves as an Ambassador for the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce and holds board positions with Our House, Volunteers in Public Schools, and Economics AR. She’s also a passionate supporter of the AR Foodbank. Her community service includes her role on the city of Little Rock’s Board of Directors, and she is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Originally from Turrell, AR, Andrea is an alumna of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She furthered her education with a Master’s degree in Business Administration and is a certified financial education instructor. Andrea’s entrepreneurial spirit is showcased through her apparel line, “Wash & Go,” which celebrates and encourages women of color to embrace and style their natural hair textures.

Andrea shares her life with her husband, Marcus Lewis, owner of M-Lew Clothing, and their three children: Hogan, Saniya, and Zari. The Lewis family are devoted members of 2nd Baptist Church, where Andrea also contributes her talents and service as a trustee.
